This policy explains what personal information Asraa Hope Foundation (“Asraa”, “we”) collects through asraa.org and our donation channels, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Information you give us when you donate: your name, email, address, phone number and donation details. Card and bank details are handled by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
- Information you give us when you contact us or apply for help.
- Basic website data such as pages visited, collected in aggregate to improve the site.
How we use it
- To process donations and send receipts.
- To meet legal and regulatory duties, including record-keeping and checks required of not-for-profit organisations.
- To reply to your messages.
- To send updates about our work, only if you have agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Choosing your country on this site
To show the right donation option, the site estimates your country from your device’s time zone, or from your internet connection if our network provider supplies it. This happens in your browser and is not stored. If you choose a country yourself, that choice is saved on your device in a cookie named asraa_region for one year.
Videos
Videos on this site are hosted by YouTube. The YouTube player only loads, in privacy-enhanced mode, when you press play.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our work (such as payment processors and email services), and with authorities when the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to us through our contact page.
