Our work

Asraa Hope Foundation's programmes in Pakistan: education support, healthcare, food and ration packs, clean water, masjid and community support, and emergency relief.

Asraa Hope Foundation runs six programmes in Pakistan. Each one pays for something specific, and you can give to any of them directly or to our general fund.

Education support

Many children in Pakistan leave school because their family cannot pay for fees, books or transport. Our education programme pays these costs directly to the school or supplier, so a child can stay in class.

  • School and exam fees
  • Books, stationery and uniforms
  • Transport to and from school
  • Support for students continuing to college or vocational training

Healthcare and medical aid

A single hospital bill can push a family into debt. We help patients who cannot afford treatment, paying the hospital, pharmacy or laboratory directly after checking the case.

  • Surgery and hospital costs
  • Medicines for long-term conditions
  • Diagnostic tests
  • Help for mothers and newborns

Food and ration support

Families in hardship receive monthly ration packs with staples such as flour, rice, lentils, cooking oil, sugar and tea. In Ramadan we run iftar and ration drives, and at Eid al-Adha we distribute qurbani meat.

Clean water

In many villages the nearest safe water is a long walk away. We install hand pumps, bore wells and filtration units, and work with the community to keep them running. A water point is a lasting gift that many donors give as sadaqah jariyah.

Masjid and community support

Masajid, madaris and community centres are often the first place people turn for help. We support their running costs, repairs and services such as Quran classes and community kitchens.

Emergency relief

Pakistan faces floods, heatwaves and other disasters that can destroy homes and livelihoods in days. When they strike, we provide food, clean water, shelter and medical help, and then support families as they rebuild.

How do we decide who to help?

Every request is checked before we spend money. Our team verifies need through documents, a visit or a trusted local reference such as a school, hospital or masjid. Wherever possible we pay the school, hospital or supplier directly rather than giving cash. We keep the personal details of the people we help confidential.
