Asraa Hope Foundation is a not-for-profit company in Pakistan, licensed under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017 by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). It funds education, healthcare, food support, clean water, masjid and community support, and emergency relief for families in need.

Yes. In Pakistan, charities that are set up as companies are licensed by the SECP under Section 42. Asraa holds that licence. Registration in the United Kingdom and United States is in progress.

Asraa’s head office is in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Its programmes reach families in cities and rural areas across Pakistan.

Yes. The donation panel shows the right option for your country. Until our UK and US registrations are complete, gifts are received by our Pakistan entity and are not eligible for Gift Aid in the UK or tax deduction in the US.

Yes. Zakat is kept in a separate fund and given only to people who are eligible to receive it. Use our zakat calculator to work out how much you owe.

Help is given on the basis of need, assessed case by case. Zakat funds are given according to Islamic rules on who may receive zakat. Other donations can help anyone in need.

Yes. Choose a programme when you donate. Gifts without a chosen programme go to our general fund and are used wherever the need is greatest.

Yes. Every donor receives a receipt by email. For bank transfers, email us after giving so we can match your payment.

We publish audited accounts on our transparency page and report on our programmes through our blog and videos. You can also write to us to ask about a specific gift.

Yes. Volunteers help with distributions, events, fundraising and online work. Write to us through the contact page and tell us how you would like to help.
